Dr Anu Siriwardana is multi disciplinary trained in Respiratory, Sleep and General Medicine specialities. He currently works as a physician in Gold Coast hospital and health service. He has started consulting from Pacific Cardiology and Specialist Centre at Ormeau and Hope Island.

Dr Siriwardana completed his basic physician training and Internal medicine specialist training in Gold Coast University Hospital and health service. He continued his specialist training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at St. George hospital in Sydney. He then completed a fellowship in Respiratory failure and Sleep medicine at the Centre for sleep disorders and Respiratory failure centre at St. George hospital.

Dr. Siriwardana is actively involved in medical training and medical research. He holds various teaching positions with Bond, Griffith and Wollongong universities.

He has research interests in Asthma, COPD and currently involved in research in various sleep disorders and management of excessive sleepiness. His main clinical areas of interest include chronic lung disease (Asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis and chronic cough), respiratory failure and sleep medicine.
